| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Amanda Kreh is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Kreh has been selected as the 2024–2025 Cannon County School |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | District Grades 9-12 Teacher of the Year, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | influence she has on so many young lives; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Amanda Kreh is a French teacher at Cannon County High School, having |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | taught for twenty-four years in total; in addition to her work in the classroom, she has generously |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | given of her time to lead her local Girl Scout troop and teach Sunday School at her church; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Kreh's multitudinous talents have serviced varied roles throughout her |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | career, including as a technology coach, testing coordinator, co-director for after-school |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | programs, and federal Title II program coordinator; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, steeping herself in further study to better her teaching, Ms. Kreh graduated |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science and master's degrees; and |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | WHEREAS, she is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who works |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | assiduously to motivate her students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | citizens; and |
