| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that we should specially recognize those outstanding teachers |

| 17 | 17 | | who have devoted their careers to providing the highest-quality education for Tennessee's |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | students; and |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Cathleen Humphrey is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished |

| 20 | 20 | | herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Humphrey has been selected as the 2024–2025 DeKalb West School |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Teacher of the Year, an honor most befitting her outstanding tenure as a fourth-grade math and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | science teacher, as it recognizes the positive influence she has on so many young lives; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Cathleen Humphrey is an extremely talented and compassionate educator |

| 25 | 25 | | who has worked assiduously to motivate her students to reach their full potential, both as |

| 26 | 26 | | scholars and as citizens; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Humphrey serves as an inspiration to her colleagues and students |

| 28 | 28 | | alike, and her friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to know her; |
