| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to pay |

| 17 | 17 | | tribute to those students who, through their natural talents and unflagging commitment to |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | academic excellence, have distinguished themselves in the classroom; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Elizabeth Grace Denning is one such exceptional student, who was recently |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | named Salutatorian of the 2025 graduating class at Trousdale County High School; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, through diligent study, steady composure during examinations, and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | steadfast commitment of time and talent, Elizabeth Denning has achieved outstanding |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | academic success and joined the ranks of the best and brightest students in Tennessee and our |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | country; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, in her remarkable high school career, Ms. Denning has earned an |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | exemplary grade point average while participating in a variety of extracurricular activities; she |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | has served as a member of Beta Club, FBLA, student council, Interact Club, and the |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Appreciation Team, in addition to acting as senior class vice president and as school board |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | student representative; and |

| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, apart from her superlative scholastic achievements, she has generously |

| 31 | 31 | | given of her time as an annual volunteer at Hartsville United Methodist Church's Vacation Bible |

| 32 | 32 | | School and as student ambassador for various school events; and |

| 33 | 33 | | WHEREAS, her display of intellectual aptitude and ambition surely bodes well for her |

| 34 | 34 | | future success as a student at Tennessee Technological University; and |
