<BillNo> <Sponsor> HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 608 By Carringer HJR0608 006973 - 1 - A RESOLUTION to honor Kyle Nahrebne on being elected Vice Chair of the Knox County Republican Party. WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should specially recognize those estimable public servants who work to improve the quality of life for their fellow citizens through their involvement in the political process; and WHEREAS, one such invaluable leader is Kyle Nahrebne, who was recently elected Vice Chair of the Knox County Republican Party for 2025-2027; and WHEREAS, Ms. Nahrebne holds an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree in microbiology, both of which she utilized for more than thirty-three years while managing departments, employees, and multi-million-dollar budgets in the corporate world; after retiring, she immediately became active in politics; and WHEREAS, she is active in the local GOP as secretary of the West Knox Republican Club and president of Knox County Republican Women, which she has re-energized; and WHEREAS, Ms. Nahrebne also provides dynamic leadership as a district president of Knox County Conservative Republicans; and WHEREAS, Kyle Nahrebne serves the larger community as a member of the Knox County Library Advisory Board; and WHEREAS, Kyle Nahrebne is wholly committed to the noble precepts of public service and political engagement that have earned Tennessee recognition as the Volunteer State, and she should be specially recognized on this special occasion; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE CONCURRING, that we honor and congratulate Kyle Nahrebne on being elected Vice Chair of - 2 - 006973 the Knox County Republican Party, salute her unswerving commitment to living the examined life with courage and conviction, and extend to her our best wishes for much continued success and happiness.
