| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, it is appropriate that we should honor those citizens who have performed |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | with uncommon devotion and enthusiasm throughout their years of service; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Buck Carter is one such estimable individual, who has devoted his career to |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | serving his fellow Benton Countians; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, after a nineteen-year tenure as Benton County Highway Supervisor, Mr. |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Carter is taking his much-deserved retirement on June 30, 2025; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, for nearly two decades, Buck Carter has done his utmost to ensure the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | safety and well-being of travelers in Benton County; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, his many accomplishments aside, he is grateful for the love and support of |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | his family; in his retirement, he plans to spend more time watching his grandsons play ball; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Carter exemplifies the spirit and allegiance to family and community that |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | are characteristic of a true Tennessean; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, throughout his remarkable career, Buck Carter has performed his duties |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | with professionalism, ability, and integrity, helping his fellow citizens in any way he could and |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | proving himself to be a tremendous asset to the Benton County Highway Department; now, |

| 31 | 31 | | BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED |
