13	13	A RESOLUTION to commend Taylor Adkins for exemplary service
14	14	as a legislative intern.

16	16	WHEREAS, each legislative session, this body is pleased to recognize certain persons
17	17	who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative
18	18	process; and
19	19	WHEREAS, Taylor Adkins is one such individual, who has distinguished herself in her
20	20	role as a legislative intern for Representative Karen Camper; her work has resulted in
21	21	innumerable benefits for the legislators she assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and
22	22	WHEREAS, a student at the University of Memphis, where she is highly regarded by her
23	23	peers, Ms. Adkins has achieved academic success while also serving in leadership positions in
24	24	her jobs outside of school and holding membership as vice president of the Student Social Work
25	25	Organization, serving as a member of Professional Assertive United Sisters of Excellence
26	26	(P.A.U.S.E.), and maintaining status on the Dean's List and membership in Phi Alpha honor
27	27	society, in addition to serving in a multitude of volunteer positions; and
28	28	WHEREAS, eager to familiarize herself with the characteristics and complexities of
29	29	Tennessee State government and to further her studies, Taylor Adkins brought her many
30	30	abilities and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred
31	31	Fourteenth General Assembly; and
32	32	WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Ms. Adkins has been punctual,
33	33	professional, and a joy to have in the office; she is a bright-shining star and a great sign of hope
34	34	for future generations; and

39	39	WHEREAS, Taylor Adkins has performed her many duties with extraordinary insight and
40	40	rare decorum; now, therefore,
41	41	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
42	42	FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE
43	43	CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Taylor Adkins for outstanding service as a legislative
44	44	intern for Representative Karen Camper and extend to her our best wishes for every future
45	45	success.
46	46	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
47	47	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
48	48	the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
49	49	without House or Senate designation.
