12	12	A RESOLUTION to honor King Bullard for his contributions to the
13	13	96-0 Elmore Park Middle School Eagles, state
14	14	champions for the third consecutive year.

16	16	WHEREAS, it is fitting that this legislative body should salute those student athletes
17	17	who, through their extraordinary efforts, have distinguished themselves as true champions of
18	18	whom we can all be proud; and
19	19	WHEREAS, King Bullard, a five-foot, eight-inch seventh grader, is a valuable member of
20	20	Bartlett's Elmore Park Middle School Eagles boys' basketball team that recently won its third
21	21	consecutive TMSAA Class AAA state championship, capping a third consecutive undefeated
22	22	season with a perfect 31-0 record; and
23	23	WHEREAS, the Eagles' overall record during this three-peat championship run is an
24	24	incredible 96-0; the team's record for the last four years is 118-3; and
25	25	WHEREAS, Elmore Park's three consecutive state titles with an undefeated record in
26	26	each season is a first at any level of basketball in the State of Tennessee, truly an incredible
27	27	feat; and
28	28	WHEREAS, in the 2025 TMSAA Class AAA state tournament at Rockvale, Elmore Park
29	29	crushed Page 51-24 and then trounced Richview 53-32 to earn the three-peat and bring home
30	30	the gold; and
31	31	WHEREAS, King Bullard epitomizes all that is good in today's student athletes, as he
32	32	has achieved a premier level of success in competition while exhibiting the highest degree of
33	33	character in all aspects of life; and

38	38	WHEREAS, the perseverance, determination, work ethic, and talent of this young man
39	39	and his teammates not only made possible a championship but also surely bode well for their
40	40	future success; and
41	41	WHEREAS, King Bullard played an important role in the Elmore Park Eagles winning
42	42	their third consecutive state championship, and he is most worthy of our approbation and
43	43	congratulations on this special occasion; now, therefore,
44	44	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
45	45	FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, that we honor King
46	46	Bullard for his contributions to the 96-0 Elmore Park Middle School Eagles, TMSAA Class AAA
47	47	boys' basketball state champions for the third consecutive year, and extend to him our best
48	48	wishes for every continued success in all his future endeavors.
49	49	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
50	50	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy.
