A RESOLUTION to honor Freeman Agee for his contributions to 
the 96-0 Elmore Park Middle School Eagles, 
state champions for the third consecutive year. 
 
 WHEREAS, it is fitting that this legislative body should salute those student athletes 
who, through their extraordinary efforts, have distinguished themselves as true champions of 
whom we can all be proud; and 
 WHEREAS, Freeman Agee, a six-foot seventh grader, is a valuable member of Bartlett's 
Elmore Park Middle School Eagles boys' basketball team that recently won its third consecutive 
TMSAA Class AAA state championship, capping a third consecutive undefeated season with a 
perfect 31-0 record; and 
 WHEREAS, the Eagles' overall record during this three-peat championship run is an 
incredible 96-0; the team's record for the last four years is 118-3; and 
 WHEREAS, Elmore Park's three consecutive state titles with an undefeated record in 
each season is a first at any level of basketball in the State of Tennessee, truly an incredible 
feat; and 
 WHEREAS, in the 2025 TMSAA Class AAA state tournament at Rockvale, Elmore Park 
crushed Page 51-24 and then trounced Richview 53-32 to earn the three-peat and bring home 
the gold; and 
 WHEREAS, Freeman Agee epitomizes all that is good in today's student athletes, as he 
has achieved a premier level of success in competition while exhibiting the highest degree of 
character in all aspects of life; and

 WHEREAS, the perseverance, determination, work ethic, and talent of this young man 
and his teammates not only made possible a championship but also surely bode well for their 
future success; and 
 WHEREAS, Freeman Agee played an important role in the Elmore Park Eagles winning 
their third consecutive state championship, and he is most worthy of our approbation and 
congratulations on this special occasion; now, therefore,  
 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED 
FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, that we honor 
Freeman Agee for his contributions to the 96-0 Elmore Park Middle School Eagles, TMSAA 
Class AAA boys' basketball state champions for the third consecutive year, and extend to him 
our best wishes for every continued success in all his future endeavors. 
 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared 
for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy.
