1313 AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 13,
1414 Chapter 26, relative to human resource agencies.

1616 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
1717 SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 13-26-107(c), is amended by
1818 deleting the subsection and substituting instead:
1919 (c) It is the intent of the state to assist financially with the delivery of human
2020 resources for residents. After the creation of any such board as provided in this chapter
2121 and when the local governments have indicated a willingness to contribute financially by
2222 adopting a budget requiring a certain per capita assessment, the state is authorized to
2323 match the local contributions according to the following schedule:
2424 Local Assessment Annual State
2525 Cents/Capita Contribution
2626 1-20 $295,000
2727 21-30 $340,000
2828 31 and over $370,000
2929 SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
