1313 AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 11,
1414 Chapter 13, relative to scenic rivers.

1616 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
1717 SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 11-13-104, is amended by adding
1818 the following language under the designation "Class II Pastoral River Areas":
1919 Beaverdam Creek – The segment of Beaverdam Creek beginning with the
2020 confluence of Brush Fork and Piney Fork in Hickman County and ending with the
2121 confluence of Beaverdam Creek and Duck River in Hickman County.
2222 Duck River – The segment of the river lying within Hickman county.
2323 Lick Creek – The segment of the river beginning with the confluence of North
2424 Fork Lick Creek and South Fork Lick Creek in Williamson County and ending with the
2525 confluence of Lick Creek and Duck River in Hickman County.
2626 Piney River – The segment of the river beginning with the confluence of West
2727 Piney River and East Piney River in Dickson County and ending with the confluence of
2828 Piney River and Duck River in Hickman County.
2929 Swan Creek – The segment of Swan Creek beginning with the confluence of Dry
3030 Branch and Swan Creek in Hickman County and ending with the confluence of Swan
3131 Creek and Duck River in Hickman County.
3232 SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 11-13-108(b)(1), is amended by
3333 deleting the phrase "that segment of Duck River" and replacing it with "the segment of any
3434 river".
3535 SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
