| 18 | 18 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE: | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 8-44-102(b)(1), is amended by | |
| 20 | 20 | adding the following as a new subdivision: | |
| 21 | 21 | (F) A body composed of representatives from several state government | |
| 22 | 22 | agencies that seeks to promote and support the health of humans, animals, and the | |
| 23 | 23 | environment through cooperation and collaboration across disciplines, including local, | |
| 24 | 24 | state, and federal agencies, academic institutions, and outside partners. | |
| 25 | 25 | SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 8-44-102(b)(2), is amended by | |
| 26 | 26 | designating the existing language as subdivision (b)(2)(A) and adding the following as a new | |
| 27 | 27 | subdivision (b)(2)(B): | |
| 28 | 28 | (B) "Meeting" also means the convening of a governing body described under | |
| 29 | 29 | subdivision (b)(1)(F). | |
| 30 | 30 | SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it. |
