| 19 | 19 | (1) Cruelty to animals is a Class A misdemeanor, and must be punished by at | |
| 20 | 20 | least forty (40) hours of community service work to be determined by the court, in | |
| 21 | 21 | addition to any punishment authorized by ยง 40-35-111. | |
| 22 | 22 | SECTION 2. This act takes effect July 1, 2025, the public welfare requiring it. |
