18 | 18 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE: | |
19 | 19 | SECTION 1. | |
20 | 20 | The office of research and education accountability (OREA), in the office of the | |
21 | 21 | comptroller of the treasury, shall study and make recommendations for the | |
22 | 22 | implementation of an incentive program for educators who have fifteen (15) or more | |
23 | 23 | years' experience in education. OREA shall report its findings and recommendations for | |
24 | 24 | implementation of the incentive program to the education committee of the senate and | |
25 | 25 | the committee of the house of representatives having jurisdiction over educator benefits | |
26 | 26 | by December 31, 2025. | |
27 | 27 | SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it. |
