1313 AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4;
1414 Title 49; Title 58; Title 68 and Title 71, relative to
1515 veterans.

1717 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
1818 SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-49-104(e), is amended by deleting
1919 subdivision (3) and substituting:
2020 (3) Four percent (4%) of the privilege tax collected under this section must be
2121 distributed by the council to the state treasurer and allocated to the department of mental
2222 health and substance abuse services to use in the manner prescribed by ยง 4-49-119.
2323 (4) One percent (1%) of the privilege tax collected under this section must be
2424 distributed by the council to the state treasurer and allocated to the department of
2525 veterans services to be used to support veterans services in this state.
2626 SECTION 2. This act takes effect July 1, 2025, the public welfare requiring it.
