| 17 | 17 | SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-3-5501(b)(1), is amended by | |
| 18 | 18 | adding the following new subdivision: | |
| 19 | 19 | (N) One (1) state employee who has experience in the field of cybersecurity, to | |
| 20 | 20 | be appointed by the governor; | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-3-5501(b)(3), is amended by | |
| 22 | 22 | deleting the subdivision and substituting: | |
| 23 | 23 | (3) The persons appointed pursuant to subdivisions (b)(1)(L)-(N) are nonvoting | |
| 24 | 24 | members of the council. | |
| 25 | 25 | SECTION 3. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-3-5501(c)(3), is amended by | |
| 26 | 26 | deleting the subdivision and substituting: | |
| 27 | 27 | (3) Members appointed pursuant to subdivisions (b)(1)(F), (G), (H), (I), (J), (L), | |
| 28 | 28 | (M), and (N) are eligible for reappointment to the council. | |
| 29 | 29 | SECTION 4. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it. |
