SUMMARY OF BILL: Authorizes grant payments to eligible individuals under the Grant
Assistance Program for Nursing Home Care to be made quarterly.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 71-5-1305, grant payments from the Grant Assistance
Program for Nursing Home Care shall be made to the individual monthly.
• Authorizing payments to be made less frequently will not have an impact on the total
amount of grant payments, or result in a significant decrease in state expenditures;
therefore, any fiscal impact is estimated to be not significant.
