12	12	A RESOLUTION to commend Noelle Porterfield for exemplary
13	13	service as a legislative intern.

15	15	WHEREAS, each legislative session, this body is pleased to recognize certain persons
16	16	who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative
17	17	process; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Noelle Porterfield is one such individual who has distinguished herself in her
19	19	role as a legislative intern for Senator John Stevens; Ms. Porterfield's work has resulted in
20	20	innumerable benefits for the legislators she assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and
21	21	WHEREAS, a student at Belmont University, where she is highly regarded by her peers,
22	22	Ms. Porterfield has achieved academic success while majoring in politics and public law and
23	23	participating in numerous extracurricular activities; and
24	24	WHEREAS, eager to familiarize herself with the characteristics and complexities of
25	25	Tennessee State government and to further her studies, Noelle Porterfield brought her many
26	26	abilities and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred
27	27	Fourteenth General Assembly; and
28	28	WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Ms. Porterfield has surpassed all
29	29	criteria that define a devoted and conscientious legislative intern; and
30	30	WHEREAS, Noelle Porterfield has performed her many duties with extraordinary insight
31	31	and rare decorum; now, therefore,
32	32	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
33	33	GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNE SSEE, THE HOUSE OF
34	34	REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Noelle Porterfield for
35	35	outstanding service as a legislative intern for Senator John Stevens and extend to her our best
36	36	wishes for every future success.

41	41	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
42	42	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
