12	12	A RESOLUTION to commend Marc Joseph Broadhead for
13	13	exemplary service as a legislative intern.

15	15	WHEREAS, each legislative session, this General Assembly is pleased to recognize
16	16	certain persons who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment
17	17	of the legislative process; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Marc Joseph Broadhead is one such individual, who has distinguished
19	19	himself in his role as a legislative intern for Senator Heidi Campbell; Mr. Broadhead's work has
20	20	resulted in innumerable benefits for the legislators he assisted and the General Assembly as a
21	21	whole; and
22	22	WHEREAS, a student at Belmont University, where he is highly regarded by his peers,
23	23	Mr. Broadhead has achieved academic success while pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in
24	24	Economics with a minor in Political Science and Mathematics; and
25	25	WHEREAS, in addition to his undergraduate studies, Marc Broadhead is concurrently
26	26	pursuing a Master of Applied Science degree in Data, Economics, and Design of Policy from the
27	27	Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and
28	28	WHEREAS, Mr. Broadhead has served the Alzheimer's Impact Movement in Nashville
29	29	as a public policy advocate since 2023; prior to his current work, Marc Broadhead was a student
30	30	advocate in Senator Heidi Campbell's mayoral campaign, in which position he canvassed local
31	31	neighborhoods, collected voting data, and campaigned; and
32	32	WHEREAS, eager to familiarize himself with the characteristics and complexities of
33	33	Tennessee State government and to further his studies, Marc Broadhead brought his many
34	34	abilities and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred
35	35	Fourteenth General Assembly; and

40	40	WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Mr. Broadhead has surpassed all
41	41	criteria that define a devoted and conscientious legislative intern; and
42	42	WHEREAS, Marc Broadhead has performed his many duties with extraordinary insight
43	43	and rare decorum; now, therefore,
44	44	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
45	45	GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
46	46	REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Marc Joseph Broadhead for
47	47	outstanding service as a legislative intern for Senator Heidi Campbell and extend to him our
48	48	best wishes for every future success.
49	49	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
50	50	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
51	51	the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
52	52	without House or Senate designation.
