A RESOLUTION to congratulate the board, staff, and volunteers
of the White County Fair upon being named the
2025 Class A Division State Champion Fair by
the Tennessee Association of Fairs.
WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pay tribute to
those events that promote local business, entertain and educate our citizens, and celebrate the
history and culture of the State of Tennessee; and
WHEREAS, the White County Fair is one such estimable event, which recently received
the prestigious honor of being named the 2025 State Champion Fair in the Class A Division at
the 103

Tennessee Association of Fairs Convention held January 16-18, 2025, in
Murfreesboro; and
WHEREAS, nearly 1,000 individuals attended the 103
rd
Tennessee Association of Fairs
Convention, where the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and the Tennessee Association of
Fairs presented awards to the top county, regional, and State agricultural fairs for the 2024
season; and
WHEREAS, the 2024 White County Fair greatly benefited from the stalwart leadership
and vision of the White County Fair Board, including President Mike Wilson, Vice President Paul
Flatt, Secretary Sara Farris, and Treasurer Albert R. Dicus; and
WHEREAS, the success of the White County Fair and its well-earned recognition bring
great pride to the citizens of White County, who every year unite with tireless dedication to
celebrate and promote local business, agriculture, competition, and history with this time-
honored event; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF

REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we congratul ate the board, staff, and volunteers of
the White County Fair upon being named the 2025 State Champion Fair in the Class A Division
by the Tennessee Association of Fairs, thank them for their tremendous service to the people of
White County, and extend to them our best wishes for every future success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
without House or Senate designation.
