<BillNo> <Sponsor> SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 358 By Briggs SJR0358 006492 - 1 - A RESOLUTION to commend Kilyn Booker, Minority Leader of the 2025 Intern Mock Session. WHEREAS, each legislative session, we are pleased to welcome a select group of students who commit themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative process as legislative interns; and WHEREAS, annually, during each session of the General Assembly, the intern class holds a mock legislative session and elects from among their membership a governor, a lieutenant governor, a speaker of the house, a majority leader, and a minority leader; and WHEREAS, Kilyn Booker, a student at Tennessee State University, was elected Minority Leader of the 2025 Intern Mock Session for the first regular session of the 114 th Tennessee General Assembly; and WHEREAS, during this legislative session, Ms. Booker has served with distinction in her role as a legislative intern for Representative Johnny Shaw; and WHEREAS, Kilyn Booker's commitment to excellence is clearly deserving of the respect, admiration, and commendation of this General Assembly; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby honor Kilyn Booker on her election as Minority Leader of the 2025 Intern Mock Session and extend to her our best wishes for every future success.
