| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, each legislative session, this General Assembly is pleased to recognize |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | certain persons who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | of the legislative process; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Riley McCormick is one such individual, who has distinguished himself in |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | his role as a legislative intern for Senator Bill Powers; Mr. McCormick's work has resulted in |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | innumerable benefits for the legislators he assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he was highly regarded by his |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | peers, Mr. McCormick earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Communication |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Studies and History; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, eager to familiarize himself with the characteristics and complexities of |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Tennessee State government and to further his studies, Riley McCormick brought his many |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | abilities and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Fourteenth General Assembly; and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Mr. McCormick has surpassed all |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | criteria that define a devoted and conscientious legislative intern; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Riley McCormick has performed his many duties with extraordinary insight |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | and rare decorum; now, therefore, |

| 32 | 32 | | BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH |
