12	12	A RESOLUTION to commend Taylor Hollands for exemplary
13	13	service as a legislative intern.

15	15	WHEREAS, each legislative session, this body is pleased to recognize certain persons
16	16	who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative
17	17	process; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Taylor Hollands is one such individual who has distinguished herself in her
19	19	role as a legislative intern for Senator Raumesh Akbari; Ms. Hollands's work has resulted in
20	20	innumerable benefits for the legislators she assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and
21	21	WHEREAS, a student at the University of Memphis, where she is highly regarded by her
22	22	peers, Taylor Hollands has achieved academic success and has been recognized on the
23	23	Dean's List while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Mass Media, Communications,
24	24	and Fine Arts; and
25	25	WHEREAS, in her collegiate career, Ms. Hollands has served as a member of the
26	26	Student Government Association, Psychology Club, Lambuth Pride, Wesley Foundation, and
27	27	PRSSA Memphis; and
28	28	WHEREAS, eager to familiarize herself with the characteristics and complexities of
29	29	Tennessee State government and to further her studies, Taylor Hollands brought her many
30	30	abilities and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred
31	31	Fourteenth General Assembly; and
32	32	WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Ms. Hollands has surpassed all
33	33	criteria that define a devoted and conscientious intern; and
34	34	WHEREAS, Taylor Hollands has performed her many duties with extraordinary insight
35	35	and rare decorum; now, therefore,

40	40	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
41	41	GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
42	42	REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Taylor Hollands for
43	43	outstanding service as a legislative intern for Senator Raumesh Akbari and extend to her our
44	44	best wishes for every future success.
45	45	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
46	46	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
47	47	the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
48	48	without House or Senate designation.
