1212 A RESOLUTION to commend Connor Shaw for exemplary service
1313 as a legislative intern.

1515 WHEREAS, each legislative session, this body is pleased to recognize certain persons
1616 who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative
1717 process; and
1818 WHEREAS, Connor Shaw is one such individual who has distinguished himself in his
1919 role as a legislative intern for Senator Rusty Crowe; Mr. Shaw's work has resulted in
2020 innumerable benefits for the legislators he assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and
2121 WHEREAS, a student at Belmont University, where he is highly regarded by his peers,
2222 Connor Shaw has achieved academic success while participating in numerous extracurricular
2323 activities; and
2424 WHEREAS, eager to familiarize himself with the characteristics and complexities of
2525 Tennessee State government and to further his studies, Mr. Shaw brought his many abilities
2626 and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred Fourteenth
2727 General Assembly; and
2828 WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Connor Shaw has surpassed all
2929 criteria that define a devoted and conscientious legislative intern; and
3030 WHEREAS, Connor Shaw has performed his many duties with extraordinary insight and
3131 rare decorum; now, therefore,
3232 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
3333 GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
3434 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Connor Shaw for outstanding

4141 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared

4343 the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
4444 without House or Senate designation.
