12	12	A RESOLUTION to commend Connor Shaw for exemplary service
13	13	as a legislative intern.

15	15	WHEREAS, each legislative session, this body is pleased to recognize certain persons
16	16	who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative
17	17	process; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Connor Shaw is one such individual who has distinguished himself in his
19	19	role as a legislative intern for Senator Rusty Crowe; Mr. Shaw's work has resulted in
20	20	innumerable benefits for the legislators he assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and
21	21	WHEREAS, a student at Belmont University, where he is highly regarded by his peers,
22	22	Connor Shaw has achieved academic success while participating in numerous extracurricular
23	23	activities; and
24	24	WHEREAS, eager to familiarize himself with the characteristics and complexities of
25	25	Tennessee State government and to further his studies, Mr. Shaw brought his many abilities
26	26	and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred Fourteenth
27	27	General Assembly; and
28	28	WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Connor Shaw has surpassed all
29	29	criteria that define a devoted and conscientious legislative intern; and
30	30	WHEREAS, Connor Shaw has performed his many duties with extraordinary insight and
31	31	rare decorum; now, therefore,
32	32	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
33	33	GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
34	34	REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Connor Shaw for outstanding

39	39	service as a legislative intern for Senator Rusty Crowe and extend to him our best wishes for
40	40	every future success.
41	41	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
42	42	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
43	43	the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
44	44	without House or Senate designation.
