15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to pay |

16 | 16 | | tribute to those students who, through their natural talents and unflagging commitment to |

17 | 17 | | academic excellence, have distinguished themselves in the classroom; and |
---|
18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Jack Magee is one such exceptional student, who was recently named |
---|
19 | 19 | | Valedictorian of the 2025 graduating class at Christian Academy of Knoxville; and |
---|
20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, through diligent study, steady composure during examinations, and |
---|
21 | 21 | | steadfast commitment of time and talent, Mr. Magee has achieved outstanding academic |
---|
22 | 22 | | success and joined the ranks of the best and brightest students in Tennessee and our country; |
---|

24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, in his remarkable high school career, Mr. Magee has earned an exemplary |
---|
25 | 25 | | grade point average of 4.46 while participating in numerous extracurricular activities, including |
---|
26 | 26 | | acting as a teen advisor and being a member of the marching band, the National Honor Society, |
---|
27 | 27 | | the National English Honor Society, the Scholars' Bowl, and the student Senate; and |
---|
28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Magee is no stranger to accolades, and his impressive performance in |
---|
29 | 29 | | all his chosen endeavors has accrued him such notable honors as serving as the National |
---|
30 | 30 | | Honor Society chapter president, earning the Leonard Bernstein Award, and being named a |
---|
31 | 31 | | National Merit Finalist, a National Honor Society Scholarship semifinalist, an AP Scholar with |
---|
32 | 32 | | Honor, and an All-State Band member; and |
---|
33 | 33 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Magee has also generously given of his time to teach drum lessons to |

34 | 34 | | younger students, acting as an exemplary mentor among his peers; and |

44 | 44 | | WHEREAS, Jack Magee's dedication to excellence is clearly deserving of the respect, |

45 | 45 | | admiration, and commendation of the members of this General Assembly; now, therefore, |
