1212 A RESOLUTION to honor and recognize Yeshi Hammann, 2025
1313 Valedictorian of Knoxville Christian School.

1515 WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to pay
1616 tribute to those students who, through their natural talents and unflagging commitment to
1717 academic excellence, have distinguished themselves in the classroom; and
1818 WHEREAS, Yeshi Hammann is one such exceptional student, who was recently named
1919 Valedictorian of the 2025 graduating class at Knoxville Christian School; and
2020 WHEREAS, through diligent study, steady composure during examinations, and
2121 steadfast commitment of time and talent, Yeshi Hammann has achieved outstanding academic
2222 success and joined the ranks of the best and brightest students in Tennessee and our country;
2323 and
2424 WHEREAS, in her remarkable high school career, Yeshi Hammann has earned an
2525 exemplary 3.93 grade point average while participating in numerous extracurricular activities,
2626 including the girls' volleyball team, which she served as captain for four years, the National
2727 Honor Society, and student council; and
2828 WHEREAS, in addition to her superlative scholastic endeavors, Ms. Hammann has
2929 already proven herself capable in the workforce by holding multiple jobs, and she has
3030 generously given of her time as a childcare volunteer at her church; and
3131 WHEREAS, Yeshi Hammann's display of intellectual aptitude and ambition surely bodes
3232 well for her future success as a student at East Tennessee State University; and
3333 WHEREAS, Yeshi Hammann's noteworthy achievement is a tremendous source of pride
3434 for her parents, Ed and Wendy Hammann, her school, and her community; and

3939 WHEREAS, Yeshi Hammann's dedication to excellence is clearly deserving of the
4040 respect, admiration, and commendation of the members of this General Assembly; now,
4141 therefore,
4242 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
4343 GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
4444 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby commend and honor the 2025 Knoxvil le
4545 Christian School Valedictorian, Yeshi Hammann, on her impressive academic achievement and
4646 extend to her our best wishes for a happy, successful future.
4747 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
4848 for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
4949 the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
5050 without House or Senate designation.
