A RESOLUTION to honor and commend Doug Kreulen upon
being named the Airport Experience Director of
the Year in the Large Airports Division at the
Airport Concession Awards.
WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should salute those
citizens who, through their extraordinary efforts, have distinguished themselves as community
leaders of whom we can all be proud; and
WHEREAS, one such noteworthy individual is Doug Kreulen, the president and chief
executive officer of the Nashville International Airport (BNA); and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kreulen was recently named the Airport Experience Director of the Year
in the Large Airports Division at the prestigious Airport Concession Awards held on April 1,
2025, in Washington, D.C.; and
WHEREAS, hosted by Airport Experience news, the Airport Concession Awards
highlights individuals and organizations that have demonstrated an uncommon devotion to
advancing airport commerce and customer satisfaction; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Experience Director of the Year honor duly recognizes Mr.
Kreulen's vision and commitment to fostering a thriving airport environment, building strong
partnerships that benefit both travelers and the aviation industry, and enhancing the airport
experience for travelers, partners, and the community as a whole; and
WHEREAS, under his astute leadership, BNA has continued to set new benchmarks in
innovation, customer service, and commercial growth, generating more than ten billion dollars
annually and supporting more than 76,000 jobs in the region; and

WHEREAS, the members of this General Assembly find it appropriate to acknowledge
and applaud Doug Kreulen for his many contributions to the State of Tennessee and its citizens;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby honor and commend Doug Kreulen upon
being named the Airport Experience Director of the Year in the Large Airports Division at the
Airport Concession Awards and extend to him our best wishes for every future success and
happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
without House or Senate designation.
