| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to |

| 17 | 17 | | specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the |

| 18 | 18 | | highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Sarah Savannah Howard is one such estimable educator, who has |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | distinguished herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, an English as a second language teacher at Winfree Bryant Middle School, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Ms. Howard was recently named the school's 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year, a most befitting |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | honor for her tenure as an educator, as it recognizes the positive influence she has on so many |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | young lives; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Sarah Howard is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who |

| 26 | 26 | | has worked assiduously throughout her career in education to motivate her students to reach |

| 27 | 27 | | their full potential as scholars and citizens; and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, a teacher with six years of classroom experience, Ms. Howard has earned |

| 29 | 29 | | an English and secondary education bachelor's degree, an education leadership master's |

| 30 | 30 | | degree, and an English as a second language endorsement; and |

| 31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Howard truly serves as an inspiration to the faculty and staff at Winfree |
