| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to |

| 17 | 17 | | specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the |

| 18 | 18 | | highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Leslie Tomlinson is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Tomlinson has been selected as the 2024–2025 Barry Tatum Academy |

| 22 | 22 | | Teacher of the Year, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive influence she has on so |

| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, an educator for twenty-eight years, Ms. Tomlinson serves with acumen and |

| 25 | 25 | | alacrity as a middle school alternative teacher; and |

| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Leslie Tomlinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Master of Education degree in Leadership and Supervision; and |

| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, she is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who works |

| 29 | 29 | | assiduously to motivate her students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as |
