| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to |

| 17 | 17 | | specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the |

| 18 | 18 | | highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Jonathan Stricklin is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | himself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Stricklin has been selected as the 2024–2025 Carroll-Oakland |

| 22 | 22 | | Elementary School Teacher of the Year, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive |

| 23 | 23 | | influence he has on so many young lives; and |

| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, an educator for twenty years, Mr. Stricklin serves with acumen and alacrity |

| 25 | 25 | | as a kindergarten through eighth-grade computer science teacher; and |

| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Jonathan Stricklin holds degrees in business administration, marketing and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | management, and business education; and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, he is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who works |

| 29 | 29 | | assiduously to motivate his students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as |

| 31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Stricklin serves as an inspiration to his colleagues and students alike, |
