| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that we should specially recognize those outstanding teachers |

| 17 | 17 | | who have devoted their careers to providing the highest-quality education for Tennessee's |

| 18 | 18 | | students; and |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Melissa Prince is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Prince was recently selected as the 2024-2025 Green Hill High School |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Teacher of the Year, an honor most befitting her outstanding tenure as a teacher, as it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | recognizes the positive influence she has on so many young lives; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, a twenty-six-year veteran of the classroom, Ms. Prince teaches tenth-grade |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | English II at Green Hill High School; she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English and a |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Master of Science degree in Education; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Prince is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who |

| 28 | 28 | | works assiduously to motivate her students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as |

| 29 | 29 | | citizens; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, she is truly an inspiration to her colleagues and students alike, and her |

| 31 | 31 | | friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to know her; and |
