| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that we should specially recognize those outstanding teachers |

| 17 | 17 | | who have devoted their careers to providing the highest-quality education for Tennessee's |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Sergeant Major Jonathan W. Clark is one such estimable educator, who |

| 20 | 20 | | has distinguished himself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Sergeant Major Jonathan Clark has been named the 2024–2025 Teacher of |

| 22 | 22 | | the Year at Mt. Juliet High School, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive influence |

| 23 | 23 | | he has on so many young lives; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, an educator for six years, Sergeant Major Clark serves as the grades 9-12 |

| 25 | 25 | | Marine Corps JROTC instructor at Mt. Juliet High; he holds a degree in general studies; and |

| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Sergeant Major Clark serves as an inspiration to his colleagues and |

| 27 | 27 | | students alike, and his friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to |

| 28 | 28 | | know him; and |

| 29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, Sergeant Major Clark truly epitomizes the dedicated teacher who is wholly |

| 30 | 30 | | committed to the highest ideals of public service and quality education for all, and he should be |
