| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, for over a century, Arab Americans have been making valuable |

| 20 | 20 | | contributions to virtually every aspect of American society—in medicine, law, business, |

| 21 | 21 | | education, technology, government, military service, and culture; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, since migrating to America, men and women of Arab descent have shared |

| 23 | 23 | | their rich culture and traditions with neighbors and friends while also setting fine examples of |

| 24 | 24 | | model citizens and public servants; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, they brought with them to America their resilient family values, strong work |

| 26 | 26 | | ethic, dedication to education, and diversity in faith and creed that have added strength to our |

|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Arab Americans have also enriched our society by sharing in the |

| 29 | 29 | | entrepreneurial American spirit that makes our nation free and prosperous; and |

| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, the celebration of Arab American ancestry and cultural heritage educates |

| 33 | 33 | | WHEREAS, Arab Americans join all Americans in the desire to see a peaceful and |
