| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this legislative body should specially |

| 18 | 18 | | recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the highest- |

| 19 | 19 | | quality education for Tennessee's students; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Tracia Alexander is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Alexander was recently selected as the 2024-2025 Maplewood High |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | School Teacher of the Year, an honor most befitting her outstanding tenure as a teacher, as it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | recognizes the positive influence she has on so many young lives; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Alexander is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | works assiduously to motivate her students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | citizens; and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, she is truly an inspiration to her colleagues and students alike, and her |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to know her; and |

| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Tracia Alexander epitomizes the ideal of the dedicated teacher who is |
