| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this legislative body should salute those |

| 18 | 18 | | citizens who, through their extraordinary efforts, have distinguished themselves as community |

| 19 | 19 | | leaders of whom we can all be proud; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, one such estimable person is Harriet Thompson, who has distinguished |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Thompson was recently named a 2025 Sterling Award winner by the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Jackson Area Business and Professional Women and duly recognized as one of twenty Most |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Influential Women in West Tennessee; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Thompson, an attorney at law, has served her community with |

| 26 | 26 | | distinction as the Hardeman County General Sessions Court Judge and Juvenile Court Judge, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | as well as the City Judge for both Bolivar and Middleton; and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Harriet Thompson is a well-respected member of her community and her |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | profession, and she epitomizes the spirit and commitment that are characteristic of a true |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Tennessean; and |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, we find it appropriate to acknowledge and applaud Ms. Thompson for her |

| 32 | 32 | | many contributions to the good people of Tennessee, her unwavering commitment to others, |
