6	6	AN ACT
7	7	relating to the East Montgomery County Improvement District.
8	8	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
9	9	SECTION 1. (a) This section takes effect only if the Act of
10	10	the 81st Legislature, Regular Session, 2009, relating to
11	11	nonsubstantive additions to and corrections in enacted codes
12	12	becomes law.
13	13	(b) Section 3846.001(3), Special District Local Laws Code,
14	14	is amended to read as follows:
15	15	(3) "Venue" means a convention center facility or
16	16	related improvement such as a convention center, civic center,
17	17	civic center building, civic center hotel, auditorium, theater,
18	18	opera house, music hall, exhibition hall, rehearsal hall, park,
19	19	zoological park, museum, aquarium, tourist development area along
20	20	an inland waterway, or plaza.
21	21	SECTION 2. (a) This section takes effect only if the Act of
22	22	the 81st Legislature, Regular Session, 2009, relating to
23	23	nonsubstantive additions to and corrections in enacted codes does
24	24	not become law.
25	25	(b) Section 33(a)(1), Chapter 1316, Acts of the 75th
26	26	Legislature, Regular Session, 1997, as amended by Section 11,
27	27	Chapter 950, Acts of the 80th Legislature, Regular Session, 2007,
28	28	is amended to read as follows:
29	29	(1) "Venue" means a convention center facility or
30	30	related improvement such as a convention center, civic center,
31	31	civic center building, civic center hotel, auditorium, theater,
32	32	opera house, music hall, exhibition hall, rehearsal hall, park,
33	33	zoological park, museum, aquarium, tourist development area along
34	34	an inland waterway, or plaza.
35	35	SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
