| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 504.315, Transportation Code, is amended | |
| 11 | 11 | by adding Subsection (k) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (k) The department shall issue specialty license plates for | |
| 13 | 13 | recipients of the Bronze Star. License plates issued under this | |
| 14 | 14 | subsection must include the Bronze Star emblem and must include the | |
| 15 | 15 | words "Bronze Star" at the bottom of each plate. Section 504.702 | |
| 16 | 16 | does not apply to license plates authorized by this subsection. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
