O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1325 by Rios Ybarra (Relating to the degrees awarded by the Texas State Technical College System.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  Provisions of the bill would allow Texas State Technical College - Harlingen to offer bachelor of science degrees in a field of study if the Higher Education Coordinating Board determines that the degree in that field of study is appropriate to the role and mission of the Texas State Technical College System and if it meets the educational or workforce needs of the region in which the campus is located.
