55 relating to achievement awards presented by the Commission on Law

77 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
88 SECTION 1. Section 1701.401(f), Occupations Code, is
99 amended to read as follows:
1010 (f) The commission may present awards relating to not more
1111 than a total of 20 incidents and accomplishments [awards] each
1212 year.
1313 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
1414 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
1515 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
1616 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
1717 Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
