55 relating to continuing education requirements for public school

77 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
88 SECTION 1. Section 21.054(b), Education Code, is repealed.
99 SECTION 2. This Act applies beginning with the 2009-2010
1010 school year.
1111 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
1212 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
1313 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
1414 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
1515 Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
