| 10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 16.051, Water Code, is amended by adding | |
| 12 | 12 | Subsection (g-2) to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (g-2) Subsection (g-1) does not apply to: | |
| 14 | 14 | (1) Little River reservoir, to be located on the | |
| 15 | 15 | Little River upstream from its confluence with the Brazos River in | |
| 16 | 16 | Milam County; or | |
| 17 | 17 | (2) Little River off-channel reservoir, to be located | |
| 18 | 18 | northwest of the city of Milano in Milam County, on Beaver Creek, a | |
| 19 | 19 | tributary of the Little River. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 21 | 21 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 22 | 22 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 23 | 23 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 24 | 24 | Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
