| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 2306.022, Government Code, is amended to | |

| 12 | 12 | Sec. 2306.022. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas | |
| 13 | 13 | Department of Housing and Community Affairs is subject to Chapter | |
| 14 | 14 | 325 (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued in existence as provided | |
| 15 | 15 | by that chapter, the department is abolished and this chapter | |
| 16 | 16 | expires September 1, 2015 [2011]. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
