| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Chapter 774, Health and Safety Code, is amended | |
| 11 | 11 | by adding Section 774.005 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 774.005. FEES. A fee charged by a municipality for | |
| 13 | 13 | emergency response services to a motor vehicle accident within the | |
| 14 | 14 | municipality must be applied uniformly and may not be limited to | |
| 15 | 15 | nonresidents of the municipality. | |
| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
