66 relating to state agency information available on the Internet.
77 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
88 SECTION 1. Section 2054.126(d), Government Code, is amended
99 by amending Subdivision (6) to read as follows:
1010 (d) Each state agency, other than an institution of higher
1111 education, that receives an aggregate amount of appropriations in
1212 the General Appropriations Act for a state fiscal biennium that
1313 exceeds $175 million shall post the following information during
1414 the biennium on a generally accessible Internet site maintained by
1515 or for the agency:
1616 (6) an electronic link on the agency Internet site's
1717 home page to:
1818 (A) the provisions of the Texas Constitution as
1919 published in the electronic version of the constitution hosted by
2020 the Texas Legislative Council that authorize, govern, control, or
2121 mention the agency or an agency program or project.
2222 (B) the provisions of statutes as published in
2323 the electronic version of state laws hosted by the Texas
2424 Legislative Council that authorize, govern, control, or mention the
2525 agency or an agency program or project.
2626 (C) the agency's rules as published in the
2727 electronic version of the Texas Administrative Code and an
2828 electronic link to any written procedure of the agency relating to
2929 agency hearings that is not contained in the electronic version of
3030 the Texas Administrative Code.
3131 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
3232 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
3333 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
3434 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
3535 Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
