The bill would designate Sections 82.001 through 82.005 of the Local Government Code as Subchapter A, Chapter 82 and add Subchapter B Section 82.051, which would allow a county clerk the option to post an official and legal notice on an electronic display instead of posting a physical document. Local Government Impact If the county clerk's office already has the equipment that would allow electronic display of notices, then no significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
