77 relating to the enforcement of the change interval for a yellow
88 signal at certain intersections.
99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Section 707.005, Transportation Code, is amended
1111 to read as follows:
1212 Sec. 707.005. MINIMUM CHANGE INTERVAL. (a) At an
1313 intersection at which a photographic traffic monitoring system is
1414 in use, the minimum change interval for a steady yellow signal must
1515 be established in accordance with the Texas Manual on Uniform
1616 Traffic Control Devices.
1717 (b) The attorney general shall enforce this section.
1818 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
1919 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2020 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2121 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2222 Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
