| 8 | 8 | SECTION 1. Chapter 231.252, Local Government Code, is | |
| 9 | 9 | amended by amending Subdivision (2) and adding Subdivision (3) to | |
| 10 | 10 | read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | Sec. 231.252. AREAS SUBJECT TO REGULATION. This | |
| 12 | 12 | subchapter applies only to the unincorporated area of Zapata County | |
| 13 | 13 | located within 25,000 feet of: | |
| 14 | 14 | (1) the project boundary line for Falcon Lake; and | |
| 15 | 15 | (2) the Rio Grande River; and | |
| 16 | 16 | (3) tributaries and arroyos leading to Falcon Lake or | |
| 17 | 17 | to the Rio Grande River. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
