| 7 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 13, Health and Safety |

| 9 | 9 | | Code, is amended by adding Section 13.007 to read as follows: |

| 10 | 10 | | Sec. 13.007. REPRESENTATIVE JIM SOLIS AND COLONEL H. |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WILLIAM "BILL" CARD, JR., OUTPATIENT CLINIC. The outpatient clinic |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | operated by the South Texas Health Care System in Harlingen, Texas, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | is named the Representative Jim Solis and Colonel H. William "Bill" |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Card, Jr., Outpatient Clinic in honor of Representative Jim Solis |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and Colonel H. William "Bill" Card, Jr. |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
