The bill would amend the Human Resources Code and repeal some sections all relating to the addition of Haskell, Kent, Stonewall, and Throckmorton counties to the 39th Judicial District Juvenile Board.The bill would take effect September 1, 2009. Local Government Impact The Haskell County Judge reported to the Comptroller of Public Accounts that the changes to the statute are a formality. The county judges of Haskell, Kent, Stonewall, and Throckmorton County along with the 39th Judicial District Judge have informally composed the 39th Judicial District Juvenile Board.
