5	5	relating to the designation of a segment of State Highway 158 in
6	6	Runnels County as the Army Specialist William Justin Byler Memorial
7	7	Highway.
8	8	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
9	9	SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
10	10	is amended by adding Section 225.078 to read as follows:
11	11	Sec. 225.078. ARMY SPECIALIST WILLIAM JUSTIN BYLER MEMORIAL
12	12	HIGHWAY. (a) State Highway 158 in Runnels County, between Farm
13	13	Road 2887 and Ranch Road 2111, is designated as the Army Specialist
14	14	William Justin Byler Memorial Highway.
15	15	(b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall
16	16	design and construct memorial markers indicating the highway
17	17	number, the designation as the Army Specialist William Justin Byler
18	18	Memorial Highway, and any other appropriate information. The
19	19	department shall erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
20	20	appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
21	21	SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
