55 relating to the designation of a segment of State Highway 158 in
66 Runnels County as the Army Specialist William Justin Byler Memorial

88 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
99 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
1010 is amended by adding Section 225.078 to read as follows:
1111 Sec. 225.078. ARMY SPECIALIST WILLIAM JUSTIN BYLER MEMORIAL
1212 HIGHWAY. (a) State Highway 158 in Runnels County, between Farm
1313 Road 2887 and Ranch Road 2111, is designated as the Army Specialist
1414 William Justin Byler Memorial Highway.
1515 (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall
1616 design and construct memorial markers indicating the highway
1717 number, the designation as the Army Specialist William Justin Byler
1818 Memorial Highway, and any other appropriate information. The
1919 department shall erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
2020 appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
2121 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
