O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB848 by Martinez, "Mando" (Relating to the designation of the Mid Valley Airport as the disaster relief headquarters for the Rio Grande Valley.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would require the governor to designate the Mid Valley Airport as the state headquarters for providing disaster relief in the Rio Grande Valley following the governors declaration of a state of disaster in an area within the Rio Grande Valley.  The bill would be effective immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds or on September 1, 2009 if it receives a majority vote.
